The Vikings (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR). The Pioneers come into the 3A Eastern Oregon challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, McLoughlin was routed by Liberty Christian (Richland, WA), 45-35, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Payette Pirates (Payette, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. Ontario will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 40-25 league loss to Cole Valley Christian (Meridian, ID).
