In Tuesday's non-league test, the Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), by a score of 55-27.
Next, the Cardinals encounter the Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 9. Robertson will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 9-3 record after their 59-35 non-league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM).
The Elks/Elkettes (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Hot Springs was routed by Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM), 50-32, in a non-league test.
