In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Pine Creek Eagles basketball team scored a big 46-21 triumph over the Denver East Angels.
The Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Kadets go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Air Academy was trounced by The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO), 40-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Angels battle the Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Denver East will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 44-11 non-league win over Evergreen (Evergreen, CO).
