In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Mark Keppel Aztecs basketball team scored a big 53-13 triumph over the La Serna Lancers.
The Aztecs (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against South (Torrance, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, South smashed West (Torrance, CA), 43-23, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lancers battle the El Rancho Dons (Pico Rivera, CA) in a contest, on Wednesday, January 8. La Serna will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Dons go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 50-3 non-league loss to La Mirada (La Mirada, CA).
