The University Prep Panthers soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Gridley Bulldogs to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, University Prep advances its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Enterprise (Redding, CA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, January 10. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 8-1. Enterprise won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA)

The Bulldogs now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Pierce for a non-league test on Thursday, January 9. Gridley will clash with a Bears team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Oroville (Oroville, CA). The Bears record now stands at 2-2.
