Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks (Yuma, AZ) and the visiting Imperial Tigers (Imperial, CA), saw Yuma Catholic's soccer squad hold off Imperial by a count of 4-3.

The Shamrocks (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ). The Phoenix enter the 3A Southwest battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Tonopah Valley was edged by Arete Prep (Gilbert, AZ), 9-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, January 10. Imperial will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Scots enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to El Capitan (Lakeside, CA).
