The Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA), 72-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hawks (5-2) will now prepare for their test against East Stroudsburg North (Dingmans Ferry, PA). The Timberwolves go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, East Stroudsburg North was trounced by Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA), 54-51, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Allentown Central Catholic for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 11. Pocono Mountain East will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 55-53 league win over Parkland (Allentown, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-1.
