The Kelso Hilanders (Kelso, WA) basketball nipped the host Black Hills Wolves (Tumwater, WA), 61-54 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hilanders (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Evergreen (Vancouver, WA). The Plainsmen go into the 3A Greater St. Helens test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Evergreen was tipped by Prairie (Vancouver, WA), 71-65, in a league test.
The Wolves now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Napavine for a non-league test on Monday, January 17.
