North Carolina High School Basketball - Hertford County trounced by Cleveland

January 8, 2022: Ahoskie, NC 27910

The Cleveland Rams routed the host Hertford County Bears basketball team by a final score of 81-51 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Rams face the Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) in a 4A Conference 26 game, on Tuesday, January 11. Cleveland will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Comets enter the game with a 7-5 record after their 75-68 league loss to Garner (Garner, NC).

With the defeat, Hertford County moves to 7-4 on the year. The Bears travel to Camden County (Camden, NC) to face the Bruins in a 2A/3A Conference 15 game on Tuesday, January 11. The Bruins enter the game with a record of 7-4. Camden County won 74-29 in their recent league game against Manteo (Manteo, NC)
