The Holy Cross Tigers (New Orleans, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), 40-34 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA). The Raiders go into the 5A District 9 test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Archbishop Rummel was tipped by Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA), 57-28, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Dunham for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 12.
