In Saturday's non-league outing, the St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) basketball squad beat the visiting Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns (Metairie, LA), by a count of 56-45.
The Purple Knights (5-14) will now prepare for their outing against Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA). The Crusaders go into the 5A District 9 outing with a 17-3 record. In their last outing, Brother Martin was topped by Jesuit (New Orleans, LA), 57-56, in a league outing.
