Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mishawaka Cavemen (Mishawaka, IN) and the visiting New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN), saw Mishawaka's basketball squad knock off New Prairie by a tally of 62-47.

With the victory, Mishawaka improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Cavemen travel to Jimtown (Elkhart, IN) to play the Jimmies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Jimmies come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Jimtown won 64-50 in their recent league challenge against South Bend Clay (South Bend, IN)

Next up, the Cougars play the South Bend Riley Wildcats (South Bend, IN) in a Northern Indiana challenge, on Friday, January 14. New Prairie will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
