The Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA), 51-30 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (9-0) will now prepare for their test against West Harrison (Mondamin, IA). The Hawkeyes go into the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, West Harrison was trounced by Woodbine (Woodbine, IA), 85-22, in a league test.
The now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Woodward-Granger for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 11. Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 43-30 league win over West Central Valley (Stuart, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-6.
