Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Flagstaff Eagles (Flagstaff, AZ) and the visiting American Leadership Academy Patriots (Queen Creek, AZ), saw Flagstaff's basketball squad wallop American Leadership Academy by a tally of 68-41.
With the victory, Flagstaff improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ) to confront the Volunteers in a 4A Grand Canyon challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Volunteers come into the challenge with a record of 9-6.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Marcos de Niza Padres (Tempe, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. American Leadership Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Padres come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 64-20 non-league loss to Mingus (Cottonwood, AZ).
