The Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) basketball felled the visiting North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ), 48-29 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Highlanders (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ). The Minutemen go into the Union County - Valley test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Elizabeth was beaten by Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ), 52-36, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Phillipsburg for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 11. North Hunterdon will encounter a Stateliners squad coming off a 51-47 non-league loss to Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Stateliners record now stands at 3-2.
