Illinois High School Basketball - Pontiac knocked off by Normal University

The Normal University Pioneers basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Pontiac Indians to 43 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Pioneers now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacred Heart-Griffin for a Central State Eight contest on Tuesday, January 11. Normal University will meet a Cyclones team coming off a 53-52 league win over MacArthur (Decatur, IL). The Cyclones record now stands at 10-7.
The Indians (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Paxton-Buckley-Loda was defeated by Eureka (Eureka, IL), 52-43, in a non-league contest.
