The Pioneer Mustangs basketball team (San Jose, CA), was overwhelmed 54-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Notre Dame Regents (San Jose, CA)
The Regents now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host University Prep Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 13. Notre Dame will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 37-14 non-league loss to Pioneer (San Jose, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Westmont (Campbell, CA). The Warriors come into the battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Westmont was overwhelmed by Homestead (Cupertino, CA), 28-26, in a non-league battle.
