Maryland High School Basketball - Lanham Christian can't hold off Rock Creek Christian Academy

The Rock Creek Christian Academy Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Lanham Christian Lions to 40 in the Eagles non-league victory on Sunday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evergreen Christian for a Freelance contest on Tuesday, January 10. Rock Creek Christian Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 78-52 league loss to Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 5-8.

The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Calverton (Huntingtown, MD). The come into the Maryland Independent contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Calverton was nudged by Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD), 71-22, in a league contest.
