Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH) and the visiting Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH), saw St. Ignatius's basketball squad wallop Mentor by a tally of 84-47.

With the victory, St. Ignatius improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Hoover (North Canton, OH) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH) in a Greater Cleveland challenge, on Friday, January 13. Mentor will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 66-46 league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, OH).
