Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ), 57-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ocean City upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Raiders travel to Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ) to clash with the Panthers in a Cape/Atlantic - United bout on Monday, January 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Middle Township won 49-42 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Eustace Prep (Pennsauken, NJ)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Jackson Memorial Jaguars (Jackson Township, NJ) in a Shore A - South bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Southern Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 59-40 non-league win over Toms River East (Toms River, NJ).
