The Maloney Spartans (Meriden, CT) basketball nipped the visiting Avon Falcons (Avon, CT), 51-48 in Monday's non-league test.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Cheshire was tipped by Sheehan (Wallingford, CT), 52-51, in a league test.
