West Deptford Eagles (Westville, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Collingswood Panthers (Collingswood, NJ), 61-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Deptford upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Audubon (Audubon, NJ) to play the Green Wave in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Audubon won 71-66 in their recent non-league bout against Sterling (Somerdale, NJ)

Next up, the Panthers play the Paulsboro Red Raiders (Paulsboro, NJ) in a Colonial - Patriot bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Collingswood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 55-47 league win over Woodbury (Woodbury, NJ).
