The Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) basketball knocked off the host Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM), 67-47 in Monday's non-league test.
The Rockets (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Taos went down by Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM), 42-38, in a non-league test.
The Demons now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Jal for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Dexter will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 66-40 non-league loss to Eunice (Eunice, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.
