The Herreid/Selby Wolverines basketball team (Herreid, SD), dropped 54-44 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND)
The Mustangs now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock for a B District 2 battle on Friday, January 12. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] will battle a Lions team coming off a 53-41 non-league win over Sargent County (Milnor, ND). The Lions record now stands at 8-0.
The Wolverines (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD). The Pirates come into the B Region 6 battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Highmore/Harrold dropped by Faulkton (Faulkton, SD), 59-48, in a league battle.
