Saranac Redhawks (Saranac, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lakeview Wildcats (Lakeview, MI), 77-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Saranac upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Redhawks travel to Bath (Bath, MI) to clash with the Fighting Bees in a Central Michigan bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Fighting Bees go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Bath lost 49-43 in their recent non-league bout against Hastings (Hastings, MI)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Reed City Coyotes (Reed City, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Lakeview will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
