The Littlefork-Big Falls Vikings basketball team scored 109 points and held the visiting Northland Eagles to 72 in the Vikings league triumph on Monday.
The Vikings now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlton/Wrenshall for a A Section 7 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Littlefork-Big Falls will battle a team coming off a 66-58 league loss to Chisholm (Chisholm, MN). The record now stands at 6-4.
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against International Falls (International Falls, MN). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, International Falls triumphed over Lake of the Woods (Baudette, MN), 77-61, in a non-league contest.
