The Wabeno/Laona Rebels (Wabeno, WI) basketball felled the visiting Oneida Nation Thunderhawks (Oneida, WI), 53-40 in Monday's non-league test.

The Rebels (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Three Lakes (Three Lakes, WI). The Bluejays go into the Northern Lakes test with a 11-2 record.

The Thunderhawks now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Saint Thomas Aquinas for a Marinette & Oconto test on Tuesday, January 9. Oneida Nation will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 63-49 league loss to Wausaukee (Wausaukee, WI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-5.
