East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Academy for Urban Leadership Charter Jaguars (Perth Amboy, NJ), 45-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Brunswick upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Bears travel to Bound Brook (Bound Brook, NJ) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Bound Brook lost 42-25 in their recent league bout against Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Keyport Raiders (Keyport, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Academy for Urban Leadership Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
