Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Adena Warriors (Frankfort, OH) and the host Jackson Ironman/Ironladies (Jackson, OH), saw Adena's basketball squad hold off Jackson by a count of 59-57.
With the victory, Adena upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH) to play the Panthers in a Scioto Valley challenge on Friday, January 12. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Southeastern won 59-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Wellston (Wellston, OH)
Next up, the Ironman/Ironladies play the McClain Tigers (Greenfield, OH) in a Frontier challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 29-16 non-league win over Fairfield (Leesburg, OH).
