The Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL), 57-54 in Monday's league test.
The Spartans (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Trojans go into the Sangamo test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Maroa-Forsyth was tipped by PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL), 49-20, in a league test.
