The Bradford Academy Archers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans to 28 in the Archers non-league victory on Monday.

The Archers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carolina Mustangs for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Bradford Academy will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 69-15 non-league loss to New Life Camp (Raleigh, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.

The Spartans (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Vikings come into the NCISAA Carolina Independent contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Halifax Academy prevailed over Fayetteville Academy (Fayetteville, NC), 37-30, in a league contest.
