Conard Red Wolves (West Hartford, CT) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT), 70-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Conard upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Red Wolves travel to Farmington (Farmington, CT) to clash with the River Hawks in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial bout on Thursday, January 11. The River Hawks go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Farmington lost 44-25 in their recent league bout against Avon (Avon, CT)

Next up, the Blue Dragons clash with the Plainville Blue Devils (Plainville, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Middletown will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 83-42 non-league loss to East Catholic (Manchester, CT).
