In Monday's league outing, the Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Horseshoe Bend Mustangs (Horseshoe Bend, ID), by a count of 66-23.
The Lumberjacks (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Cascade (Cascade, ID). The Ramblers go into the 1A II Long Pin outing with a 3-9 record.
The Mustangs now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-Valley for a 1A II Long Pin outing on Thursday, January 11. Horseshoe Bend will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 38-31 league win over Salmon River (Riggins, ID). The Titans record now stands at 10-1.
