Ohio High School Basketball - Franklin Monroe overwhelmed by Milton-Union

January 8, 2024: Pitsburg, OH 45358

The Milton-Union Bulldogs basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Franklin Monroe Jets to 21 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Monday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside for a Three Rivers contest on Thursday, January 11. Milton-Union will battle a Pirates team coming off a 48-40 non-league loss to Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 4-7.

The Jets (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fairlawn (Sidney, OH). The Jets come into the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Fairlawn was routed by Houston (Houston, OH), 48-23, in a league contest.
