Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Owen J. Roberts Wildcats (Pottstown, PA), 31-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Great Valley upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Patriots host Oxford (Oxford, PA) to clash with the Hornets in a Ches-Mont - American bout on Thursday, January 11. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Phoenixville Phantoms (Phoenixville, PA) in a Pioneer bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Owen J. Roberts will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
