The Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL) basketball crushed the host Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL), 61-21 in Monday's league test.

The Cornjerkers (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL). The Timberwolves go into the test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Cissna Park was trounced by Salt Fork (Sidell, IL), 48-45, in a league test.

The Hilltoppers now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chrisman for a Vermilion Valley test on Thursday, January 11. Schlarman will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 32-22 non-league win over Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-12.
