Kearny Kardinals (Kearny, NJ) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Science Park Chargers (Newark, NJ), 60-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kearny upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Kardinals travel to Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ) to play the Lions in a Hudson County - American bout on Thursday, January 11. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 4-5.

Next up, the Chargers play the West Side Roughriders (Newark, NJ) in a Super Essex - Freedom bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Science Park will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record.
