Lewis Academy Watchmen (Newberg, OR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Trinity Academy (Portland, OR), 43-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lewis Academy upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Watchmen travel to St. Paul (St. Paul, OR) to play the Buckaroos in a 1A Casco bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Buckaroos go into the bout with a record of 11-2. St. Paul won 30-25 in their recent non-league bout against Colton (Colton, OR)

Next up, the play the North Clackamas Christian Saints (Oregon City, OR) in a 1A Valley 10 bout, on Friday, January 12. Trinity Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 53-14 league win over Valor Christian (Beaverton, OR).
