Littleton Lions (Littleton, CO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Thomas Jefferson Spartans (Denver, CO), 63-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Littleton upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Lions host Alameda (Lakewood, CO) to play the Pirates in a 5A/4A Jeffco bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-5.
Next up, the Spartans play the Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Thomas Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 46-45 non-league loss to George Washington (Denver, CO).
