Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper Dauphin Area winner over Newport

In Monday's league outing, the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans (Elizabethville, PA) basketball squad felled the host Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA), by a margin of 41-21.

The Trojans (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Greenwood (Millerstown, PA). The Wildcats go into the Tri-Valley outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Greenwood was beaten by Millersburg (Millersburg, PA), 36-34, in a league outing.

The Buffaloes now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to York County Tech for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 10. Newport will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 42-24 non-league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-10.
