Illinois High School Basketball - Pontiac routs Paxton-Buckley-Loda

In Monday's league contest, the Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL) basketball team smashed the visiting Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL), by a score of 51-18.

The Indians now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prairie Central for a Illini Prairie contest on Thursday, January 11. Pontiac will battle a Hawks team coming off a 52-22 league loss to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 2-16.

The Panthers (1-18) will now prepare for their contest against Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Sages come into the Illini Prairie outing with a 7-12 record. In their last outing, Monticello smashed Danville (Danville, IL), 50-40, in a non-league outing.
