Pope John Paul II Eagles (Lacey, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Puget Sound Adventist Sharks (Kirkland, WA), 54-6 in a league bout.

With the win, Pope John Paul II upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Rainier Christian (Covington, WA) to play the Mustangs in a 1B/2B Sea-Tac bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-2.

Next up, the Sharks play the Evergreen Lutheran Eagles (Tacoma, WA) in a 1B/2B Sea-Tac bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Puget Sound Adventist will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 41-28 non-league win over Tulalip Heritage (Marysville, WA).
