Bear Creek Bears (Lakewood, CO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Gateway Olympians (Aurora, CO), 35-9 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bear Creek upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bears host Standley Lake (Westminster, CO) to play the Gators in a bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Standley Lake lost 31-13 in their recent league bout against Evergreen (Evergreen, CO)

Next up, the Olympians play the Skyview Wolverines (Thornton, CO) in a bout, on Thursday, January 18. Gateway will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
