The Veritas Christian Academy Warriors basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Community Christian Academy Warriors to 2 in the Warriors league victory on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Master's Academy for a contest on Tuesday, January 9. Veritas Christian Academy will battle a Lions team coming off a 36-10 league win over Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC). The Lions record now stands at 4-2.
The Warriors (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Temple Baptist (Asheville, NC). The Eagles come into the contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Temple Baptist was routed by Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy (Asheville, NC), 43-28, in a non-league contest.
