Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC), 56-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pine Lake Prep upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Pride host Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Carmel Christian lost 43-31 in their recent non-league bout against Covenant Day (Matthews, NC)

Next up, the play the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 12. SouthLake Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record.
