In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix basketball team scored a big 59-27 win over the Lake Ridge Academy Royals.

The Phoenix (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record.

In their next game, the Royals battle the Grand River Academy (Austinburg, OH) in a Lake Effect contest, on Thursday, January 9. Lake Ridge Academy will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
