In Wednesday's league test, the Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) basketball squad defeated the host Bald Eagle Area Eagles (Wingate, PA), by a final score of 57-42.

Next, the Rams clash with the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands test, on Friday, January 10. Penns Valley Area will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Mountaineers come into the test with a 2-8 record after their 64-33 league loss to Clearfield (Clearfield, PA).

The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels come into the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Moshannon Valley went down by Mount Union (Mount Union, PA), 46-42, in a non-league test.
