The Thunderbirds (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Mustangs come into the 4A Cook Inlet challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Chugiak trounced Redington (Wasilla, AK), 63-24, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) in a 4A Northern Lights challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Wasilla will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to University (Spokane, WA).
