New York High School Basketball - Haverling victorious over York

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Haverling Rams basketball team scored a good 59-51 triumph over the York Golden Knights.
The Rams (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wayland-Cohocton (Wayland, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 5 Livingston 1 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Wayland-Cohocton topped Warsaw (Warsaw, NY), 55-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Knights battle the Keshequa Indians (Nunda, NY) in a Section 5 Livingston 3 contest, on Friday, January 10. York will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 45-31 non-league win over Houghton Academy (Houghton, NY).
