The Hobbs Eagles bounced the host Valley Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 63-39 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles face the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Hobbs will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Bulldawgs enter the outing with a 6-8 record after their 64-53 non-league win over Roswell (Roswell, NM).

The Vikings (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Eldorado was overwhelmed by West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM), 75-72, in a non-league outing.
